Ok, let’s do this…
Welcome to my corner of the galaxy. Name’s George and I recently took my Foundation Licence exam. Obviously, I passed!
Been playing around with radio stuff for a few years now, and finally built the courage to become licensed.
All started with a Baofeng UV-5R like a lot of other people nowadays, and got really hooked-up.
Got myself an RLT-SDR v4 dongle soon after, and was amazed of now many things you can do/listen on the radio spectrum.
Of course the next step was to build my own antenna for APT weather satellites reception from the NOAA satellites (RIP) and was all downhill from there.
I am currently in the process of building my station, and for the moment only got new antenna for the 2m/70cm bands and placed it in my loft, to avoid dealing with the building regulations in my area, still hooked up to my Baofeng UV-5RH but on the market for a new one/next level.

Anyway, this is me to start with. No clue how often I will post here or what I will post about, but at least I have a place to do it 🙂
Oh, and of course I have a QRZ page as well: https://www.qrz.com/db/M7ODV
73 (seen this the cool way to end a post/transmission).
